Mhofu in trouble

that the club is on the verge of re-hiring Serbian coach Vladislav Heric.

However, reports coming from South Africa last night said the veteran gaffer would remain with the club and serve in another role on the technical team with the club expected to name a new coach today. Leopards PR and media manager Tendani Thidiela told Kick Off that they were interviewing coaches, including fired Amazulu coach Manqoba Mngqithi and Ernst Middendorp
“Sunday is going nowhere. He will remain as employee of Black Leopards. The club is currently interviewing a number of coaches and by tomorrow afternoon we should make an announcement,” said Thidiela.

The former Warriors mentor secured promotion into the top-flight with the Limpopo side but has found the going tough in the Absa Premiership where the team is one place above the basement club Jomo Cosmos. On Saturday, Lidoda Duvha bowed out of the Telkom Knockout Cup losing 1-2 to Orlando Pirates but not before they made the treble champions sweat for the victory.

But it appears the directors have resolved that it is time for a new broom at the club which have a reputation of hiring and firing coaches.
According to Kick Off, the club had talks with Vladislav Heric who is yet to put pen to paper.

“I have spoken to them and we will see how it goes in the next few days,” he said.
However, it has emerged that Heric has already resigned from his job at First Division inland side African Warriors. Leopards’ brand manager Chief Thidiela also refuted reports that Heric has joined the team.
