Women in and around Kwekwe were last weekend taught how to start sustainable projects and financial literacy during a business coaching and mentorship seminar.

In an interview with H-Metro, MamaPreneurs Midlands co-ordinator, Ellen Mateta said:

“We gathered in Kwekwe to launch MamaPreneurs Midlands Chapter which incorporated the teaching of various sustainable skills to women. We are living in tough times with no employment and so there is a need for women to do sustainable projects to fend for their families.

“We encourage women in Midlands to join this good initiative that goes a long way in helping lessen the harsh burdens that various families are facing.

“Many thanks go to our sponsors WAFIKA for the prizes that were handed to various women during the training.” MamaPreneurs is the brainchild of Memory Mugabe. Last month they trained women in Mutare how to grow various cash crops. MamaPreneurs is expected to visit various cities and towns teaching women various sustainable projects for their benefit.
