Midnight visit to married lover earns woman beating

AFTER being a sidechick for four years, a Bulawayo woman suffered a double blow when her married lover dumped her and efforts to win him back by visiting him in the dead of the night backfired as it left her with six stitches on the forehead.

Sinini Nkiwane was left with severe head injuries when she visited her married boyfriend Thompson Pundo in the middle of the night disturbing his nice time with his wife.

The fuming wife thoroughly beat her up.

Nkiwane was a bitter woman after Pundo turned his back on her and concentrated on his family.

The love birds had been together for four years and Pundo who was taking care of Nkiwane by paying her rentals and up keep, just pulled off out of the blue breaking the lattera��s heart.

With nowhere to turn to for help, Nkiwane decided to disturb the couple by being a midnight visitor, but it never yielded any positive results for her.

Pundo said: a�?Nkiwane was my girlfriend for the past four years and I decided to terminate our relationship in October and married another woman.

a�?She then developed a habit of coming to my home even at night around 11pm disturbing us and was beaten up by my wife.a�?

He further revealed that despite putting his marriage on the line, he was afraid that he might lose his job because Nkiwane also goes to his work place to cause drama.

a�?I am afraid I might lose my job and marriage. At work they recently transferred me from Pumula to Nkulumane because of her behaviour,a�? said Pundo.

In her response, Nkiwane confirmed the allegations revealing that she was bitter as the man never told her that he was married.

a�?We have been in love for the past four years and I only discovered in April that he was married. After asking him about his marriage, he told me that he was forced to marry the woman and we continued with the relationship.

a�?I started going to his work place and home after he stopped paying my rentals and it is the time when his wife beat me up,a�? said Nkiwane.

The presiding magistrate Tancy Dube granted the peace order in favour of Pundo. Nkiwane is not supposed to communicate, threaten or visit the applicant. .
