Sex-starved woman sues small house

A spurned Bulawayo woman who had allegedly endured sexual starvation for five years is demanding $5 000 from her husbanda��s alleged small house.

Clara Moyo (Nee Nyathi) is demanding damages from Thandiwe Siziba claiming she has not had sex with her husband Melusi Moyo since 2013 because he has been sleeping with Siziba.

Clara made her claim at the Bulawayo Civil Court.

Clara stated that from 2013 the defendant Siziba has illicitly associated and engaged with her husband in an adulterous sexual relationship well knowing his marital status. The illicit association is reportedly blessed with a child.

She said despite several pleas directed at Siziba to end the adulterous affair with her husband she was still continuing with the affair even though she promised to annul it.

a�?The plaintiff is married to Melusi Moyo under a monogamous marriage in terms of the Marriage Act Chapter 5:11 which was entered in 2000.

a�?Ever since the period beginning 2013 the defendant has illicitly associated and engaged with the plaintiffa��s husband in adulterous sexual relationship well knowing the marital status of the plaintiffa��s husband.

a�?One child has been born out of the illicit and adulterous relationship between the defendant and the plaintiff. This is despite several pleas from the plaintiff directed at the defendant to end her adulterous affair with the plaintiffa��s husband, defendant is still continuing with the affair. This after she had promised to end the affair in 2016. Plaintiff has been seriously hurt and her dignity impaired by the flagrant adultery and lack of remorse exhibited by the defendant,a�? reads part of the summons which were submitted by Clara.

She further stated that the adulterous relationship has also deprived her of her conjugal rights for the past five years.

a�?Wherefore plaintiffa��s claim against defendant is the sum of $2 500 contumelia damages suffered by the plaintiff as a result of the defendanta��s unlawful malicious and illicit association with the plaintiffa��s husband well knowing of the plaintiffa��s husbanda��s marital status.

a�?An order for the payment in the sum of $2 500 being damages for loss of consortium, society, love, companionship and association her spouse was providing before the defendanta��s unlawful malicious and illicit association with the plaintiffa��s husband well knowing his marital statusa�?.

Siziba is yet to respond to Moyoa��s claim.
