AWARD-WINNING gospel artist, Minister Michael Mahendere’s 40th birthday celebration event, which was supposed to be held on May 27, has been moved to July 1.

The event, which is set to coincide with the launch of his global fundraising campaign, will take place at Golden Conifer in Harare.

Minister Mahendere said the change of dates was due to the magnitude of the event.

“The change of dates has been necessitated by the magnitude of the event, which has now evolved into a big international event whose planning, logistics and execution have brought new dimensions and exciting possibilities to the fore.

“Secondly, there is a strong interest from partners, sponsors, exhibitors and many other stakeholders who would like to experience a host of opportunities offered by the MMM@40 Celebration Event with more time provided for their planning and participation,” he said.

Minister Mahendere is one of the consistent gospel artists and commands a huge following.

Known for empowering budding artists, Minister Mahendere grew from humble beginnings to become one of the most sought-after gospel musicians.
