THE Minister of State for Manicaland Provincial Affairs and Devolution Advocate Misheck Mugadza has applauded Mega Family Choice’s investment in the province after it opened its doors for business in Mutare.
The wholesale and retail outlet officially opened its doors yesterday.
In an interview this afternoon after he had toured Mega Family Choice Superstore, a stockist of Mega Market products, Minister Mugadza welcomed the investment, describing it as a significant boost to the province’s economic growth and employment creation efforts.
“This is exactly the kind of investment we want to see in Manicaland. The opening of Mega Family Choice Superstore demonstrates confidence in our province’s economic potential and aligns with the Government’s thrust on devolution and localised development,” he said.
He said the new establishment would not only improve access to affordable goods but also create employment opportunities for local residents.
“Beyond offering competitive prices, this business is empowering families through job creation and supporting downstream suppliers. We encourage more investors to take advantage of the conducive environment that exists in Manicaland,” he added.
Operations and Human Resources Manager, Mr Denford Chigweshe, said the superstore was committed to delivering quality products at competitive prices while prioritising community development.
“Our goal is to provide a one-stop wholesale and retail experience for families and small businesses. We have created employment for local people and will continue expanding as demand grows,” he said.
