Minister Tawengwa Tours Geo Pomona

Harare Metropolitan Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Charles Tavengwa toured Geo Pomona Waste Management today to appreciate ongoing works.


Minister Tavengwa said the work done at the plant demonstrates Zimbabwe’s continued status as a regional leader in the waste management sector.

“With the SADC Industrial Week around the corner, most SADC countries must learn from what Geo Pomona is doing and incorporate it into their nations,” he said.

Geo Pomona Waste Management chief executive officer and executive chairman, Dr Delish Nguwaya said: “As this is one of its kind within the region, we have something to showcase to the Heads of States.”

 

Minister Tavengwa was accompanied by Permanent Secretary, Mr Cosmas Chiringa, Harare City Council Town Clerk, Engineer Hosiah Chisango and service chiefs, among other officials.
