The Ministerial Committee of the Sadc Organ Troika on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation is meeting on the third day of the Extraordinary Sadc Summit of Heads of State and Government at the New Parliament Building in Mt Hampden.
The meeting will be opened by the MCO Troika Chairperson, Tanzania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and East Africa Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo.
The Extraordinary Summit has been convened to review the security situation in the DRC ahead of the expiry of the Sadc Mission in DRC that was deployed there in December last year.
