A 36-year-old man reportedly dragged a primary school pupil into the grass and raped her on several occasions. Clever Hondo was allegedly in the habit of following the minor (age not supplied), while she was on her way to school. He would then rape her. Hondo appeared before Harare magistrate Ms Barbara Chimboza on Monday facing rape charges. He was remanded in custody to March 20. The prosecutor Mr Sebastian Mutizirwa alleged that sometime in September last year, Hondo followed the minor who was on her way to school and dragged her into the grass.
He forcibly removed her clothes and raped her. Hondo committed the offence on several occasions.
