MISS Supranational contest Pauline Marere is optimistic she will do well at the 16th edition of the beauty pageant on June 28.
She left the country yesterday for a bootcamp in Poland.
Already Pauline has made it into the top three of the Suprachat.
She is the Suprachat top 20 influencer winner.
Pauline became the first Zimbabwean to win both the semi-final and final round of the Suprachat.
Friends and fellow models bid her farewell yesterday at the Robert Mugabe International Airport.
“Miss Supranational is the third biggest pageant in the world, I am so nervous and excited at the same time.
“It’s actually my first time to break through into the five biggest platforms and I am looking forward to using all the experience I have acquired throughout my journey.
“I am so excited to be in Europe and this is my first time.
“I want to thank the Herentals Group of Schools CEO (Honourable Innocent Benza) for assisting me with all the costs.
“I will be working with the Herentals Group of Schools to spread my projects called the Gratitude Movement where I will focus on providing free cleft surgeries for children around Zimbabwe.
“I also offer free psychology services to cleft mothers as well as nutritional support to cleft mothers throughout the country.”
She added:
“It will be high time to call time on pageantry.
“I will be starting an academy, from primary to high schools, on what modelling is all about.
“I think grooming them while they are young will help us to have great models.
“Winning or not, this is my new focus after I come from Poland.”
Pauline bagged the Miss Pan African Queen title in 2019 and was the second runner-up at the Miss Environment International in 2023.
