Model Amanda Peresu Moyo who was crowned Miss Teen Ecotourism World at a pageant held in South Africa in October will celebrate the success at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair tea room tomorrow.
She won the world crown along with the best personality and talent awards in what was her first pageant.
The beauty said the purpose of the celebration event is to have people get to know her, her vision, and what she hopes to achieve during her reign that ends next year.

She said she came across the Miss Teen Ecotourism Zimbabwe audition advert last year and went for it. She first qualified as a finalist and then proceeded to represent Bulawayo in Harare for the national contest.
“I was crowned Miss Teen Ecotourism Zimbabwe in March this year and automatically qualified for the world contest. I proceeded to represent Zimbabwe in Durban, South Africa for the world title and was crowned queen in October.”
As Miss Teen Ecotourism, Peresu is expected to travel around the world to crown other Ecotourism national queens.
“My role is to promote ecotourism and advocate for nature and wildlife conservation. I also contribute and work on empowering our youth from urban slums and economically weaker rural communities,” said Peresu.
Not only is she a 19-year-old professional model, but she is also an aspiring civil engineer and gospel musician. – @ReeSibanda
