A MIDLANDS State University student, who was reported missing in April, was found staying with another man, H-Metro can reveal.

Chipo Mavura, 26, went missing on April 28.

Her husband, Owen Chamukuza, told H-Metro in April that they searched for her to no avail.

He reported the matter to the police.

However, H-Metro has been briefed that Chipo was found staying with another man.

Investigations carried out by H-Metro have established that Chipo is no longer going to college, in the wake of the incident.

Her husband, who was at the same university, is said to have completed his course and is now staying with his children in Ruwa.

Chipo is now staying with her relatives.

“Yes, she was found with another man, I was in the same class with her,” said one of the students.

Another source also revealed that Chipo was now staying with her relatives.

“This woman was found with another man and the husband might be ashamed to tell H-Metro that he found his wife.

“When Chipo went missing, she left with her husband’s sim card and that is how he got to know her whereabouts.

“He received a message from the boyfriend.

“The reason he is not coming forward with the new developments is that he is ashamed to reveal that his wife was with another man.

“The other man was not even aware of the missing person report, akatozoita zvekuratidzwa newspaper kuti munhu waunaye arikutsvagwa.

“The husband is staying with his two minor children, mukadzi wacho akugara ne hanzvadzi yake.”

Contacted for comment, Owen was not prepared to discuss the issue.
