A 30-year-old woman who went missing in Mashonaland West in March this year, has been found dead at a farm.

Rumbidzai William went missing after a misunderstanding with her husband.

Acting Mashonaland West provincial police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Ian Kohwera confirmed the discovery of William’s remains.

“I can confirm that the remains of a 30-year-old woman were found at Penistock Farm near Mukuyu Primary School. She had been missing for four months.

Her remains were only discovered on July 26 by a villager who was fetching firewood.

“The husband to the deceased had notified her relatives, but no police report was made since then,” said Asst Insp Kohwera.

He said William was identified by her dress and mobile phone.
