THE reappointment of Jonathan Mashingaidze as Dynamos chief executive has been met with mixed feelings among the club’s fans.
Mashingaidze, who is also the former ZIFA head of secretariat, previously served Dynamos in the same position.
He was later deployed to a different role amid reports he had fallen out with the former chairman Isiah Mupfurutsa.
Mashingaidze was ousted as the club’s CEO last year as the club embarked on a strategic structural change.
He then worked with the club in a freelance role as a business consultant.
Mashingaidze is expected to lead the club’s quest for a return to the glory days associated with Glamour Boys in their glorious history.
He will also spearhead the commercialisation of the club’s properties, engagement with local, regional, continental and international partners, inception of the youth academy, women’s football and development structures as well as the coordination of the historic 60th-anniversary celebrations.
However, some of the club’s fans believe Mashingaidze has a tainted image in the corporate world.
