Unlike previous boardroom elimination sessions, chief mentor Nigel Chanakira took the audiences and contestants by surprise as he proved that in “Nigel’s Ark” elimination can be done in twos instead of the usual one.
This year’s edition is filled with drama as the contestant are proving to be big headed.
All contestants except Sandisiwe Mahlangu boycotted a task session leaving the producers perplexed. After protesting contestants staged a “Prodigal son return”, the visibly drunk Knowledge treated his fellow contestants and the producers of the show to a striptease in a bid to make his grievances heard.
Garikai drove one of the MOB’s sponsors` bus which was a clear violation of the MOB contractual agreement. In the boardroom session Sandisiwe Mahlangu was identified as the weakest link and faced possible eviction as she had the least results for the TN Bank Cash card task.
As luck or divine intervention would have it she had Garikai and Knowledge to thank for getting in touch with the villains in them. Thus Mahlangu gained immunity from eviction as discipline was becoming a cause for concern and required immediate attention.
In dismissing the two contestants, Chanakira said: “Champions should be true champions. Their behaviours should be beyond reproach and Knowledge’s indulging and abuse of alcohol is not in line with MOB philosophy.
“Garikai you drove our sponsor’s bus loaned to promote MY Own Boss 2012 without authority. You were putting the sponsor’s asset at risk and you were jeopardising the lives of your fellow contestants. You are dismissed because you had no explicit authority to drive that bus.”
The dismissal of the two contestants was purely on indiscipline.
