MODEL Lisa “Miss LissBeauty” Kondo is determined to make a huge impact in the beauty industry.
Having started modelling at an early age, the 23-year-old said she has always been driven by her passion.
She has been nominated for the Zimbabwe Modelling Awards, which is currently running online.
Miss LissBeauty told H-Metro:
“After gaining confidence in my skills, I started offering make-up services to friends and family for special events, and the positive feedback I received pushed me to pursue a career in the beauty industry.
“I intend to change the lives around me and make a positive impact.”
Her manager, Elias Nyamaropa, said:
“Lisa is a hard working lady and, at her age, she has captured the hearts of many with her multifaceted career and unwavering dedication to making a positive impact.
“Lisa’s journey into the beauty industry began at the young age of 16.
“Lisa recounts her childhood fascination which ignited her desire to pursue a modelling career through hard work and dedication.
“She landed her first modelling job at 18, marking a significant milestone in her journey as a commercial model.”
She launched her own LissBeauty Academy, an institution that specialises in beauty training.
