The 28 finalists would also have a free breast cancer screening and dental therapy as part of the package.

Munyaradzi Kereke, founder of the Green Card Medical Aid Society, GCMAS, said the package was meant to empower the girl child, while raising awareness on the dangers of breast cancer among women in Zimbabwe and world over.
“Looking at the contestants here, I see a lot of ambitious faces, and their dreams and aspirations should not be washed away overnight because of diseases that can be detected early.

“By giving them a full cover during the camp, we also realised that they can fall ill during the camp, and may need medical attention at their earliest convenience,” he said. Kereke, who is a renowned philanthropist, wished the girls well and urged them to take their studies seriously.
It was all smiles when the girls took time off their schedule to visit the Rock Foundation Medical Centre, situated in Mount Pleasant, soon after they had their medical cover processed.

As part of their tour, they had an opportunity to interact with different medical specialists at the medical centre, and also had a feel of some of the services that Rock Foundation provides.
The Miss Universities grand finale would be held at Ochi City on Friday evening, where the winner will walk away with the crown and prizes from various sponsors.
