The employees are identifiable by their yellow bibs marked “Litter Monitor”.

Proudly Zimbabwean executive director Mr Fungai Chiposi said over 25 corporates were involved in the anti-litter campaign.
“Everyone knows Harare has problems. We have decided to assist the city. We are putting litter monitors on every street,” he said.
He said the foundation had taken over the 33km of road in the central business district where it would deploy over 300 pole-litter bins.
“We are putting pole litter bins every 100 metres on either side of the street. We have now done over 80 percent of the work,” he said.
Yesterday some of the litter monitors were at Charge Office on their anti-litter campaign.
Mr Chiposi said special bins would be put along Kaguvi Street to cater for the metal scrap.
Harare amenities director Mr Dombo Chibanda welcomed the assistance.
