WOMEN delivering at Sally Mugabe Central Hospital have commended midwives at the institution for their exceptional service.
This has resulted in an increase in the number of women going to deliver at the hospital.
The maternity section has also been commended for its hygiene, which provides a clean and safe environment, for newly-born babies.
Mothers, who spoke to H-Metro, indicated that the hospital’s midwives were doing a good job.
“I have three children that were delivered here and the service has been outstanding.
“I came here with a breech baby and was supposed to give birth through a C-section.
“The midwives here helped me and I ended up having a normal birth,” she said.
Another mother, who was admitted at the health facility, added:
“I was admitted here for seven days and I was treated well the whole time.
“I was blessed with a premature baby and they took care of him.
“I really appreciate all the care and hospitality that they showed me and my baby boy.”
Meanwhile, husbands have been slammed for neglecting their wives by failing to pick them up from the hospital, on time, after delivery.
The delay poses danger to newly-born babies.
