MOTIVATIONAL speaker, Tinevimbo Matambanadzo, has vowed to change vulnerable children’s lives through her programme dubbed “Take A Childn To School”.

The Harare social worker said she was targeting students from less privileged communities like Hopley, Zvimba District and Epworth.

“My programme started with the aim of raising school fees for the less privileged who cannot afford to go school.

“It provides them with reproductive health resources as we hold wellness workshops in these communities,” she said.

Matambanadzo said the main objective of the programme is to prevent early child marriages.

“The future of our children is in our hands. It is the duty of elders to give kids a life so that they become better people,” Matambanadzo said.

She has also been supporting teenage mothers at a safe house that she is renting.

She provides them with skills training, mental health support and counselling.

“I learnt a lot when l was writing my two books titled ‘Turning Pain into Power’ and ‘Unmasking Endometriosis’, a guide for women living with this disease.

“I feel it’s necessary to inspire many women and young girls to be the best versions of themselves and to make their health a priority,” she said.
