JOHANNESBURG. — Motorola, the data and telecommunications equipment provider, has launched a new range of two-way radio communication devices into the Nigerian market. The three devices unveiled to the company’s Nigerian major distributors and journalists are MOTOTRBO, TETRA Portfolio and Vertex Standard Portfolio.
Nicolas Coussinoux, Africa sales manager for Motorola Solutions, said the three new two-way radio communication devices has an improved audio clarity throughout coverage area with 40 percent longer battery life and integrated data applications such as GPS-based Location Services and Text Messaging Services.
The gadgets also come with lower licensing and equipment costs as well noise reduction.
Speaking at the launch event, Rita Amuchienwa, Senior Territorial Manager:
West Africa at Motorola Solutions, noted that Motorola mobile radio series were credible platforms that “linked a force together, enhance productivity and ensure communications for a swift, effective joint response”.
She said with diverse portfolio of two-way radio products, Motorola offered best technology.
Amuchienwa said this enabled government and private sector focus on their mission, make informed decisions and experience better results.
She expressed optimism that with the support of partners in Nigeria, the products will meet its 2013 growth forecast of between 5 percent and 8 percent. — CAJ News.
