WARRIORS defender Blessing Moyo left the country yesterday for trials with South Africa Premiership side Maritzburg United. The Harare City defender will link up with compatriot Tatenda Mukuruva, who is also trying his luck with the Pietermaritzburg-based side. The Sunshine Boys secretary, Mathew Marara, yesterday said the defender, who joined them at the beginning of the year, will spend one week in South Africa.

“Moyo left the country for South Africa in the morning (yesterday) for trials with Maritzburg United. He is expected back in the country on Sunday if everything goes according to plan,” said Marara.

This means he will miss City’s next assignment away to Border Strikers at Dulivhadzimu on Sunday. Moyo joined Harare City from Dynamos.
