MP donates computers

Herald Reporter
MAZOWE West National Assembly member Cde Ray Kazembe on Saturday donated state-of-the-art computers to Mazowe High School as part of his community oriented constituency development projects.
The donation of the computers coincided with the school’s speech and prize-giving ceremony as well as the commissioning of two computer laboratories, renovation of an office block and the construction of a swimming pool pavilion.

The computer labs were installed at a cost of US$120 000 and took almost a year to complete, while the swimming pool pavilion and the office block gobbled US$85 000.
The three projects were funded by the School’s Development Committee as well as the Salvation Army, which runs the school.

In his speech, Cde Kazembe said his donation would go a long way in complementing efforts by the school authorities and also improve Information Communication Technology in schools, a move which helps Zimbabweans to keep abreast with evolving global trends.
