MTN cloud service for SMEs

LAGOS.  – MTN Nigeria has launched a cloud service for small and medium scale enterprises  in Nigeria.
The development, which officials say is in keeping with its vision of providing cutting edge digital services for its subscribers, makes MTN the first telecommunications operator to offer cloud services to small businesses in the country.

Speaking at the launch of the service in Lagos, Babatunde Osho, MTN Chief Enterprise Solutions Officer, said SMEs in Nigeria would now be able to enjoy enterprise solutions without the usual attendant costs.

The services, he said, would enable small businesses to increase their productivity and profitability.
“No matter what entrepreneurs need, MTN Cloud Services can help take their business to new heights,” he said.

Osho noted that technology had become a key differentiator and enabler for businesses and as such offerings like MTN Cloud Services could prove to be a critical success factor for SMEs due to their flexibility and pay-as-you-go cost structure.

The cloud service is a range of prepaid cloud-based services designed to offer human resource management, customer relationship management and other enterprise software over a secure internet connection, without any of the associated IT infrastructure costs. – CAJ News.
