And there’s another R8-million to be won in prizes in the Last Fan Standing competition.
For the duration of the tournament, every day and every eight hours there will be winners of airtime, home entertainment sets, IPhones and many other spot prizes.

It promises to be yet another fast and exciting season opener,” says Serame Taukobong, MTN SA’s Chief Marketing Officer.
This year’s MTN Last Fan Standing will win a prize worth a whopping R2 million, which includes a trip of a lifetime to watch eight top derbies in the world and R1 million in cash. Each of the eight finalists will then go into the final round during the week leading up to the MTN8 Final, to stand a chance of becoming the ultimate Last Fan Standing winner, walking away with the R2 million prize.
In support of Women’s Month (August), the MTN8 Wafa Wafa tournament will reward female fans that come to the stadium dressed in fan regalia. Female fans that come clad to impress will stand a chance to win an R8 000 prize that is shared.
In the spirit of Women’s Month, the female fan will receive R4 000 in cash for herself and will donate the remaining R4 000 to a charity of her choice that seeks to help women or children. At each game, the best-dressed female fan will be selected from the stands and will be announced at half time after being selected by renowned women’s personality.
