CHITUNGWIZA-BASED singer, rapper, and songwriter Tinashe ’Mugaratia’ Magaragada has released a new album titled ‘Pemurai Dzose,’ which is doing well on the charts.
The album was produced by Trapsungura star Tanto Wavie alongside Clef Jones.
People who were not familiar with Mugaratia’s music are beginning to search for him after the release of his album.
It appears many are enjoying his melodies and vocals. Mugaratia’s album has 13 tracks and he collaborated with a number of artists.
The artists include Tanto Wavie and King 98.
He blends different sounds to come up with a unique sound.
In an interview with H-Metro Mugaratia said:
“My album is meaningful, joyful, vibes on vibes and this album has mixed vibes – Afro beat, Zim Hip Hop and other sounds.
“My life inspired me to make this album, it’s all about me.
“The album title ‘Pemurai’ roughly translates to my strength and power.
“Dzose means all or everything so when combined ‘Pemurai Dzose’ can be interpreted as my strength is in everything or my power is in all things.
‘’In a broader sense, the phrase could be seen as a declaration of resilience, confidence and faith in one’s abilities.
‘’This album is different because it’s a powerful affirmation that acknowledges the individual’s inner strength and capacity to navigate life’s challenges.”
