Mukamba, Jaure to miss Mighty Bulls tie

The youthful pair was ruled unfit for action by the club’s medical team after succumbing to injuries in the game against Chicken Inn at the weekend.
Mukamba, who lasted only 54 minutes in that match, suffered a groin injury while Jaure had to brave the last 25 minutes with a painful thigh.
However, Pasuwa sounded upbeat yesterday and said the duo’s injuries, which come at a time when a number of his players are struggling to gain full fitness, would have little effect in their game plan.
“Denver and Partson have been ruled out by the doctors. It’s disappointing because we needed them to ensure continuity in the team.
“In football you cannot control some of these things but there is always a plan B.
“We have other players in our squad who can fill in those gaps. We registered a 30-member squad and that is what we are going to work with.
“As a professional team we need to keep focused and try as much to get the maximum points,” said Pasuwa.
Already these teams have met three times this year with Motor Action winning two of the duels in the Independence Cup semi-finals and the Bob’88 Super Cup bronze medal play-off.
But Dynamos beat the Mighty Bulls to lift the season-opening NetOne Charity Shield at the National Sports Stadium.
With Jaure out, DeMbare will have to consider George Magariro, Gift Bello and David Kutyauripo to partner Guthrie Zhokinyi in central defence.
However it is Mukamba’s absence that would be felt as the midfielder’s injury          came just when it appeared he had picked        up his form after making a quiet start this year.
Mukamba has scored four league goals for Dynamos this season and his combination with striker Takesure Chinyama was beginning to work perfectly.
Dynamos have about 10 players on their casualty list with Leo Kurauzvione, Devon Chafa, Wonder Sithole, Murape Murape        and Chinyama among those walking wounded.
“We rested the team yesterday (Monday) so that we do not risk them from getting more injuries.
“We had our preparations today (yesterday) with a light training session just to loosen the muscles.
“Otherwise we are ready for the game.         We have played Motor Action a number            of times and we know they are a difficult side.
“It’s a team that you we wouldn’t want to give space to play freely. In such a match we need to be alert and take all the half chances that come our way,” said Pasuwa.
DeMbare were boosted by the return of gritty midfielder Milton Makopa in the 18-member squad.
The DeMbare coaches were impressed by Zambian striker Derrick Kabwe in the last three games that he featured and they are likely to give him another starting place in the team.
Motor Action will welcome back their captain Passmore Bernard from suspension.
The roving rightback missed the club’s last two outings because of the red card he earned in the 2-0 defeat at FC Platinum.
The Mighty Bulls are coming from a  disappointing 1-0 loss at lowly Buffaloes         and manager Joey Antipas yesterday declared they want to bounce back to winning ways.
“It’s always a big game whenever we             play Dynamos and such encounters come with pressure. Dynamos are the reigning champions and obviously the team to            beat.
“But we must not forget that we lost our last game at Sakubva and there is need to improve. We need to give it our best against Dynamos,” said Antipas.
