EASTERN Region Division One pacesetters Eastern Stars are not concerned by how their opponents Black Eagles have been performing ahead of their clash.
The leaders take on the struggling police outfit at Rudhaka.Eastern Stars have been doing well in their campaign so far where they have won seven, drew one and lost two in their 10 games so far.
Gift Mukusa, the Eastern Stars coach, said they were not concerned about their opponents’ poor show.
“We will not leave anything to chance as every match has its outcome and we will take the game seriously,” Mukusa said.
“The fact that we are playing in the same league with Black Eagles means they are capable of beating any team and the fact that they have not been playing well will not allow us to relax.
“We are going to give it our best, as the team can do well. They have managed to win a game and they have a draw which means they are capable, we will not underrate them.”
The police outfit is struggling and had managed a single win before last week’s draw at Renco Mine.
Eastern Stars beat Mutare Polly 2-0 at Rudhaka last week.
