Mullen keeps her word!

The songstress is billed to perform two concerts on May 28 and 29 at the spacious Celebration Centre.
Having performed one concert last year at Borrowdale Race Course, the soulful singer promised to come back for yet another romance with her fans.
And she did not make empty promises as she is coming with her 13-member band plus her latest album which is being distributed in Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe by Zimbabwe’s own leading record label Crossline Music and Video.
The 13-track album features music that soothes the soul while at the same time blesses both gospel and non-gospel music lovers.
Her fans will be delighted to see a new version of the song “Redeemer” now titled “My Tribute/Redeemer”, the track that many loved and enjoyed since her huge splash on the music scene.
“Holy Captivated” is the first song on the album and it sets the tone for the entire album, which is praise and worship.
The song is like the book of Revelations in the Holy Bible as we get to see the stuff Nicole is made of. Up next is a feel good song titled “I Can Do” for those who love to dance. It’s funky and groovy just the way Nicole is known for.
“I Need You (As The Deer)” is a joy to listen to and brings you closer to God literally, of course. It is a mid-tempo hit, which you can sing along to.
“Kingdom Come” is like Nicole’s signature tune and it drives you into worship mood and no doubt makes you feel good.
And taken from the Holy Bible is a song called “My Shepherd” and Nicole brings her vocal clarity to make it her own. When you listen to the song you get a new sense of belonging to Jesus which is important for any gospel song to reach out to people.
If Nicole does not play this song at the concerts then her performance would not be complete as it is simply a gem.
Also making part of this great album is a song called “Forgive Me”. Yes, we have all sinned and the least we want from God is his mercy.
This is an uplifting tune with sensual lyrics, which glorifies the name of the Lord Jesus.
Track seven is “Lead Me” and it increases the tempo but it has that smooth flow where you can choose to dance or just listen and enjoy the vibes.
“My Tribute/Redeemer” is a favourite of many and on this album it has been redone to give it a new twist but maintaining the same style and rhythm.
Up next is a song called “A Song for You” and I don’t know if there are any people who find it difficult to sing along to any of Nicole’s songs because she puts a lot of energy into her songs. Through her mellow voice you easily get connected.
Other songs worth mentioning include “I’ll Praise Your Holy Name”, “Holy Captivated (Extended)”, “I Can Do (Extended)” and “I Need You (Extended)”. All these tracks are gems that gives you the urge to just worship the Lord.
Promoter of the tour and director of Crossline Music and Video, Pastor Herman Chimusoro, said Nicole would not be performing in Bulawayo as previously announced.
“We have cancelled the Bulawayo show because we could not pursue a new venue with the time we have left. We would have loved Nicole to be in Bulawayo, but it is unfortunate that circumstances could not allow us although we had done part of the necessary arrangements.”
He, however, said the Harare concerts would go ahead as planned.
The Grammy Award winner is returning to Zimbabwe for the second time having performed in November last year at the Borrowdale Race Course.
Nicole, who was accompanied by her husband, expressed her love for Zimbabwe and its people and this time she is expected to bring her family and then tour the majestic Victoria Falls.
