Munaco releases second album

Online Reporter

Masvingo-based Afro-fusion artiste, Munashe Zhira, affectionately known as Munaco in music, has released his second album titled “Tsvigiri”.

The eight tracks on the album are “Better Uende”, “Makomo Makuru”, “Mari”, “Takamirigwa”, “Zveunzenza”, “Zvinosemesa”, “Usacheme” and “Tsvigiri”, the title track.

The Identity Band frontman has been in the game for over seven years, but has only released two albums – “Svoto” and the latest one – “Tsvigiri”.

Munaco said he had composed songs he was failing to release due to financial constraints.

In an interview with The Sunday Mail Online, Munaco said promoters gave musicians based outside Harare a blind eye.

“It’s rare to see an artiste based outside Harare getting fair treatment. There is plenty of talent out there, but the only problem is lack of funding,” he said.
