VICE-captain Marshall Munetsi and veteran forward Khama Billiat are the most notable absentees from the Warriors squad announced for the upcoming international friendlies against Algeria and Qatar.

The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) on Thursday unveiled a 24-man squad that will take part in the matches scheduled for the November FIFA international window, as the Warriors continue preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Despite the absence of key figures, the team features a blend of experienced internationals and promising young players plying their trade both locally and abroad.

ZIFA confirmed that the friendly fixtures are meant to give head coach Marian Marinica and his technical team an opportunity to fine-tune tactics and assess squad depth ahead of competitive fixtures next year.
