Munya involved in accident

Munyaradzi, or simply “The Diamond Boy” to the reality show fans, sustained a swollen ankle as a result of the accident but sources revealed that it was not that “serious”.

When The Herald sought comment from the “Lobola” actor, he could neither confirm nor deny but promised to release a statement.
However, a close friend who requested anonymity confirmed the accident but insisted that it was not serious.

“Well, it was just a minor accident in which he broke his ankle but nothing serious,” he said.
Munyaradzi has since sent his congratulatory message to this year’s Zimbabwe’s winner of Big Brother Amplified Wendall Parson, who was jointly awarded first prize with Nigeria’s Karen Ibho.

“The Diamond Boy”, who is an actor by profession, came second in the season four of Big Brother All Stars version although he had survived eviction for a record nine times.
There was a huge out cry throughout Africa after M-Net, the producers of the show through Endemol South Africa awarded Nigeria’s Uti Nwachukwu ahead of the firm favourite Munyaradzi.

However, Munyaradzi was then rewarded by a group of businessmen who put together a whopping US$300 000 prize which was presented to Munya by President Mugabe.
His first-ever feature film called “Lobola” in which he stars as the main actor, has done exceptionally well on the market. His next film titled “The Gentleman” is due for release later this year.
