Munyanyiwa appointed UZ Pro-Vice Chancellor

Council chairman Ambassador Don Motho-bi confirmed the appointment in a statement yesterday.
Dr Munyanyiwa has since assumed his duties.
He holds a doctorate in management (organisational leadership) from the University of Phoenix (US), an MSc in Tour-ism and Hospitality Management degree from the UZ, a Diploma in Hotel Management and a Certificate in Hotel Front Office Operations, both from the Kenya Utalii College (Kenya).
Before joining the UZ, he was among others, a Post Graduate Adjunct Professor of Management Studies at the Apollos University (US); Regional Director, East, Central and Southern Africa, Apollos University; Tourism Attaché, Far East; Group Marketing Manager/Operations Executive (African Sun Hotels); and Group General Manager, Block Hotels Africa.
“As Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr Munyanyiwa will serve the university and the nation for the next three years,” Ambassador Mothobi said.
