ZPC Kariba forward Leeroy “Mura” Murape says he is grateful for the chance he was given by coach Darlington Dodo and his technical team.
He joined ZPC from Greenfuel. He has already had stints with Yadah and Black Rhinos before in the top flight.
The speedy winger believes he will have a good season.
“I can only be happy and thankful to the technical team for their trust in me,” said Murape.
“It’s just not me but the whole team has started very well and I think it is coming through the hard work from both the players and the technical team.
“Coach Dodo and his technical team have been very good with every player in the squad.
“They push us to give our best in each and every training session and, honestly, it’s a pleasure working with them.”
ZPC have managed to amass a total of seven points, in four outings, and they are currently sitting in sixth place.
They are scheduled to face Herentals at National Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Herentals are still to collect a set of maximum points and they have only managed to earn three draws and lost one.
“This season we really want to push hard and see where we can reach, we are taking it one game at a time and see how far we will get.
“As we are preparing to face Herentals, everyone is pushing, there is competition in the team so I think we will be well prepared for the game.
“We are hoping for a positive result away from home,” he said.
