FORMER national team coach Shepherd Murape says he will approach the National First Division games differently this season.
He says in the past his Witbank Spurs side have been found wanting from the start.Murape is thrilled about what he saw during pre-season training. His team started preparations three weeks ago.

He said there are many things that need to be tackled and rectified before the team starts the season.

Another thing the team would have to fight off is complacency.

Murape is happy with the players he has brought into his side to bolster the team.

Murape told Chronicle Sport: “Our aim is to get promoted next season. We have been struggling for sometime now and we believe Spurs is a big team with a lot history in the country so taking it to the PSL will be a dream come true for all of us.

“I have decided to work on some areas that we have been weak on in the past. If all those are worked on properly then there will be no excuse for us not to get promoted.”

The Spurs coach said he has lost Peter and Patrick Mubaiwa to newly promoted Absa Premiership team Chippa United.

Ralph Matema is believed to be on his way to Jomo Cosmos.
