Murder-accused in the dock

A Redcliff man has been arraigned before the courts after he murdered his young brother who was asleep using a kitchen knife.

Luckson Tarisa (32) of Q382 Torwood in Redcliff, was remanded in custody when he appeared before Kwekwe Magistrate Ms Rose Dube facing murder charges. Tarisa is said to have called their mother to inform her of his young brother’s death soon after committing the heinous act.

He was not asked to plead and remanded in custody to 22 August.

The State led by Mr Vincent Chimwenje has it that on August 7 at around 10am, Tarisa was at home in the company of his young brother Brian Kanzo.
