TWO siblings are on the run after they beat their brother to death while trying to stop him from assaulting his wife.
In their twitter page, police said Wiseman Gumo and Titus Gumo assaulted their brother on September 4 and he died on September 7.
“Police in Masvingo are appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Wiseman Gumo and Titus Gumo who are wanted for a case of murder which occurred at Mahachi village.
“The victim (30) who was admitted at a private clinic in Masvingo, died on 7 September after he was assaulted by his brothers on 4 September. The suspects had intervened to stop the victim from assaulting his wife,” said the police.
Meanwhile, police in Gwanda are investigating a murder case where a 20-year-old woman was found dead at her homestead in Masholomoshe Village on 7 September.
Police have appealed to members of the public with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the police.
