Murehwa women (20) arrested for dumping still born baby

A Murehwa woman (20) has been arrested for dumping her still born baby in a blair toilet.

The incident occurred on November 26, 2024, in Murehwa.

National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident and said the body was later retrieved and conveyed to Murehwa Hospital.

“Police in Murehwa arrested Noline Antonio for concealment of birth. The suspect allegedly gave birth to a still born baby and dumped the body in a blair toilet on November 26 at Domborembudzi Business Centre,” Commissioner Nyathi said.

“The body was retrieved from the toilet and was taken to Murehwa Hospital for post mortem.”
