Musanhi donates bus to Chipadze Primary School

Mitsubishi Canter bus at Chipadze Primary School in Bindura on Saturday.
The bus was donated by businessman Mr Kenneth Musanhi.
“It is good for those who have something extra in their pockets to support developmental programmes at schools. Businessmen should give back to the communities where they come from.
“The future of young children is determined by how they are brought up and it is important for the country to have a bright future, mainly after what has been done by President Mugabe in the education sector.
“Old schools need all kinds of support, which has to come from parents and where they fail, those in the business community need to come in and assist,” he said.
Mr Musanhi said the bus was meant to help school authorities ferry students to sporting activities.
“The idea came after I realised the need to offer what I am not spending with my family. It is important that children are nurtured on their sporting activities where they can easily travel without burdening the little paid through school fees.”
School headmaster Mr William Guyo thanked the business community for the support.
“We appreciate what has been done and we will now focus on other things. It is important to see leaders coming and offering something when we find the going getting tough,” he said.
