Mushowani in tricky tie

MUSHOWANI STARS coach Arthur Tutani believes playing bottom club Darwin United will not be an easy assignment for his men.

Tutani and his men take on the basement side in the ZIFA Northern Region Division One Week 23 fixture at Chaminuka in Madziva this afternoon.

The veteran coach is hopeful that they will push log leaders Herentals, who lost in their last game in Kadoma, until the final day.

“It is not going to be an easy encounter as it is a Mashonaland Central derby where each team needs the bragging rights. We have always struggled against Darwin United, but I hope this time we will do well.

“The team is playing well and despite being at the bottom of the log they have a good team. We will take them seriously from the onset and we will not focus on their position on the log table,” said Tutani.

Darwin are sitting on 18th place after 22 games with 15 points and have already missed out on a promotion chance as winning all their remaining 12 games will see them finishing on 51 points while leaders Herentals are already on 52.
