MUSHOWANI Stars as well as TelOne advanced to the first round of the Chibuku Super Cup after winning their preliminary stage matches at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane yesterday.
In the first match of the day, Mushowani overcame Bulawayo Chiefs in a five goal thriller. Chiefs were the first to score but Mushowani hit back twice to lead 2-1 going into the break. Amakhosi Amahle equalised in the second half but Mushowani had the last say in the fixture to book their place in the first round where they will face Ngezi Platinum Stars.
