Talented hip-hop artiste Slick Beezy has vowed to shun discrimination in his latest singles “Nhasi Vanodei”, “Ndamuda” and “Wakandiramba”. The singles, released early this year, have received a fair share of airplay on local radio stations. Slick Beezy, whose real name is Tawanda Rakatsinzwa, said he uses music as an art to express his feelings towards situations that relate to his daily life.“I believe this will eventually shape society to see every person the same way,” Slick Beezy said.

“There is no person who is less human. We were all created in the likeness of God and so should respect each other conscious of the fact that the other person is likewise important.”

Slick Beezy has worked with prominent hip-hop producers including award winning Anonzi Xndr of Rehab Studios, Mutunha and Take Fizzo.

“In trying to spread the anti-discrimination message, I have invested a lot of money and time as an artist working with the best producers in Zimbabwe so that in the process I do not short change my fans,” Slick Beezy said.

The gifted Slick Beezy also announced that he was working on another single titled “Ndidewo Mhani” to be released early next month.

The artiste has other songs centred on maintaining Zimbabwe’s moral values. He has recorded songs like “Ndichaita Mari” which discourages laziness in young people. His wish is to see young people taking responsibilities in society so that they become better people in the future.
