MUSICIAN Stance Rovani says he is not generating anything from showbiz and has turned to selling face powder to survive.

He says he can’t afford the US$400 being demanded by his former wife, Victoria Shonhiwa, for the upkeep of his three children aged 14, 10 and eight years.

He told the Harare Civil Court he can only afford to pay US$50.

Victoria said the children were living under miserable conditions.

“I need US$400 as he has not paid school fees since 2018,” she said.

However, Stance said he could not afford to pay US$400 due to the current situation in the music industry and offered US$50.

“Music is not paying, I haven’t been holding any shows and I’m now selling face powder.

“I’m praying for custody of one of our children, while contributing as much as I can,” said Stance.

Magistrate Ayanda Dlamini ordered him to pay US$70 and school fees directly to the school.
