The show will see groups like Defined House, Angels Kingdom Music Gang and POY perform at the show.
POY will officially launch his music video Mabomba that is doing well on ZBCtv and online.
In separate interviews the groups have promisedan explosive night that people would not forget easily.
A member of AKMG Trevor “Trevor S Fresh” Sibanda said the group had songs that they would perform for people at the show.
He said the group would perform tracks from their mix tape The Come Up and also a surprise party jam.
“We have a party jam that is on a David Guetta tip that will blow people’s minds. Some of the songs we will perform are from our mix tape, The Come Up,” said Trevor S Fresh.
He said more opportunities such as these should be made available for up-and-coming artistes so that they can grow.
“The Evolve 12 platform is very good as this gives us a way to be known as a group. We want more of these opportunities in Bulawayo because entertainers are there but there are no such platforms,” said Trevor.
Bulawayo hip-hop artiste, POY, said he was happy with how the show had been organised and would carry over the momentum from Intwasa.
“The night will be a way for us to officially launch Mabomba, the video that I shot with Cyclone Ree and edited by Andy Cutta. I am quite happy with the way the show is organised,” said POY.
He said although the show was more about fashion the platform that was given to musicians complemented the show.
“Although the show is about fashion, we commend the way organisers fused us with fashion designers to come up with something unique, this a first for Bulawayo,” said POY.
Organiser of the Evolve 12 Fashion Show Sibongile Ngoroma said all was set for the show and rehearsals are going on well.
“Everything is in place, rehearsals are going great and people should prepare for a night of absolute magic.
“Although there were hiccups here and there, overall we are optimistic and everything is coming together,” she said.
