FORMER Dynamos midfielder Authur Musiyiwa has ignited a heated debate on social media with his Facebook post, “We are playing for money.”
The outspoken footballer, who recently parted ways with Dynamos, is reportedly being courted by his former team, Bulawayo Chiefs.
Musiyiwa’s post drew a flurry of comments, with some users condemning his remarks as unprofessional.
“Very unprofessional and uncalled for,” wrote Ronald Mujuru, while Donald Makina echoed similar sentiments, stating “That’s unprofessionalism, my guy.”
Pride Dator wrote:”Highest level of unprofessionalism.
However, not everyone disagreed with Musiyiwa’s assertion. Agency Sibanda praised the midfielder’s honesty, writing “Only player that has said the truth. Truth hurts.”
Tapiwa Madiwuraya also chimed in, pointing out playing football is a profession.
“Playing football is a profession, and you need to get paid.”
