ZIMBABWE international forward, Knowledge Musona, is staying at Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim after his proposed move to Dutch side FC Twente, during the transfer window which closed on Monday, collapsed at the last minute.The Dutch side decided against signing Musona, which was a big blow for the Warriors talisman, who had been hoping for a new home in Europe where he would play regular football.
Musona is now likely to be kept in the cold by Hoffenheim because, as of last night, he had not been given a jersey number for this season.
The German side did not even post his photo on their list of contracted players although his name appears on that list.
All the other players have their photos and profiles attached to their names and jersey numbers on that list which can be viewed on the Hoffenheim official website.
Musona was not even part of the Hoffenheim pre-season training.
His agents, Prosport International, announced on Monday night, via Twitter, that Musona will remain at Hoffenheim until the next transfer window opens in January next year.
“Knowledge Musona will remain at Hoffenheim at least until December,” Paschalis Tountouris, an agent who was handling his proposed move to FC Twente, said on his Twitter account on Monday.

Makaab has been Musona’s agent since his arrival in South Africa.
Later on Monday, Tountouris posted another message on Twitter, that the decision for Musona to stay in Germany will benefit the forward.
“The decision not to move this transfer window was jointly taken for the long term benefits of the career of Knowledge Musona,” he said.
Last Wednesday, Tountouris had posted another message, on Twitter, saying Musona has been unfortunate in his career, which have derailed his progress to become a success story on the European scene.
The agent did not name these unfortunate circumstances but said Musona, at his age, still had a chance to rise and shine.
“Musona faced some unfortunate events which didn’t allow him to reach his great potential but he is still young and sky is his only limit.” Tountouris said.
Kaizer Chiefs have already announced that they will go after Musona when the January transfer window opens.
Musona spent a year on loan at the Amakhosi last season and appeared to be on his way back to the club before reports emerged that he wanted to stay in Europe.
