MUTARE has formed a Big Brother Africa Hotshots fan club to rally behind team Zimbabwe of Butterphly and JJ. The fan club was formed last Sunday at the official opening of the Mutare BBA Hotshots Sunday eviction night party at Diamond Lounge (Ex-Gullivers).
The fan club spokesperson, Leonard Tsikira, said in Harare the Sunday eviction parties and fan clubs are there to support team Zimbabwe, so they just wanted to do the same in Mutare as the plot thickens in the reality show with 14 Housemates remaining in the House and 10 evicted so far.
“Afdis (African Distillers Limited) is our main sponsor for the competitions and games played during the live Sunday night eviction from 8pm to 9pm.
“Those that will be able to predict the evicted Housemates win prizes.
“As team Zimbabwe Mutare fan club we are also campaigning for JJ and Butterphly distributing fliers about how to vote for them and save them when they are nominated for eviction,” said Tsikira.
On the other-hand Butterphly will be up for her first ‘‘real’’ eviction this week. Although she has been upping her game lately with some flirtatious moments in the house with Malawi’s Mr 265, she had received a lot of bad criticism about being a ‘‘snoozer’’ and too quiet in the first weeks.
Ellah,Frankie, Nhlanhla, Permithias and Trezagah were the nominated Housemates for eviction from the extravaganza losing team.
However, as always the Head of House nominates someone that will only be revealed on Sunday eviction night, of which HOH this week Indris nominated Butterphly.
This will be Butterphly’s first test to see whether Africa loves her or not along with Trezagah (Mozambique) and Nhlanhla (South Africa) who are tasting eviction threat for their first time. Ellah (Uganda), Frankie (Rwanda) and Permithias (Namibia) are regulars having been nominated twice before.
Last Sunday three housemates were evicted, Arthur (Rwanda), Kacey Moore (Ghana) and Luis (Namibia) amounting to 10 evicted housemates so far.
Two weeks ago Big Brother introduced the Star Meter, where a question is asked each week on the official BBA website. The housemate who is voted for the most by fans receives a special gift.
