THE exciting and widely followed Mutare Pool League (MPL) pacesetters, Beer Garden and Rozvie Empire, are taking no prisoners and continue collecting maximum points with wide margins as the season gets into Match Day Three this weekend.
Beer Garden are perched on the summit of the MPL league table after condemning hapless Fantasy to a humiliating 20-4 defeat during the last weekend round of matches while another high-ridding outfit, Rozvie Empire, were also in ruthless form as they hammered Beloepass 19-5.
Under the guidance of Arnold Gombakomba and Frank Marembo as patrons and team captain Robson Nzarayebani, Beer Garden have assembled a formidable outfit powered by star players that include Tatenda Chikara, Tawanda Muriri, Godknows Masona, Gailence Machakaire, Tawanda Makanda, Blessing Chireshe, Lincoln Songo, Shingirai Zinhu, Tafadzwa Mutimbire learnmore Takaerwa and Tatenda Muzondiwa.
Other dark horses in the MPL marathon race — the stubborn Neighbourhood, newboys yet star-studded Shoverland, unpredictable Acid, Villa Spot and Soul City — have also posted impressive results in the opening two rounds of the MPL matches played so far.
On Sunday, Golden Peacock take on Chikanga, while T-One entertain Galaxy.

Mandisa, who proved not to be league lightweights with a convincing victory over Acid during MatchDay Two after their failure to fulfil the opening round of league matches, will face highly-rated Villa Spot.
