Mutero for Austria

Warriors in 2010 and 2011, indicated earlier this week that negotiations for his move to SV Horn were at an advanced stage and he was likely to join them by Friday.
Mutero, who turned 19 on Monday, was initially supposed to join South African Premiership side Bidvest Wits, but the deal fell through after the Clever Boys parted ways with their coach Roger de Sa a couple of weeks ago.
“I wanted to join Wits, but coach Roger de Sa got sacked two days after I had arrived in South Africa to sign a contract with the club and the deal fell through. So, I decided to head back to Europe and fortunately there was another opportunity for me to move to Austria and I’ve been in negotiations with SV Horn.
“We are just waiting to finalise the deal and I think everything should be done by this Friday or this coming week,” said Mutero, who was speaking from his base in England.
The 19-year-old Zimbabwean striker was once attached to newly-promoted English Premiership side Reading before he became a free agent towards the end of last season.
He then underwent a two-week trial period with Wits in January this year in a move which was initiated by former Zimbabwe central defender Alexander “Mr Cool” Maseko, who is now based in Johannesburg.
And at the completion of his two-week trial period with the Clever Boys, Mutero later indicated that the Pretoria-based side were keen to sign him on and were likely to do so before the start of 2012-2013 season next month.
According to Wikipedia, the club plays in the Austrian Football First League. The team were champions of the Landesliga Niederösterreich in 1991, 1998 and 2007.
In 2008, SV Horn won the Austrian Cup by beating SV Feldkirchen in the final. The club lost the unofficial Austrian Supercup match 2008 against SK Rapid Wien 1-7.
SV Horn are currently under the guidance of their 46-year-old Austrian manager Michael Streiter.
