of “The Chimurenga Protocol” that was published in 2010.
The latest 396-page publication is a critique of the Western foreign policy towards Zimbabwe and it gives reasons why stronger nations attack weaker states. One chapter of the book profiles President Mugabe as a charismatic leader of Zimbabwe. Addressing the gathering in Harare on Friday, Dr Mutizira-Nondo said he had a passion in writing although his parents encouraged him to study medicine.
Dr Mutizira-Nondo said he would be publishing another book “Yemurai Zimbabwe” before the United Nations World Tourism Organisation this year.
“This year, before UNWTO, I will publish another book that seeks to promote and market Zimbabwe as a safe trade and tourism destination.
“The book is 80 percent complete and soon it will be available on the market,” said Dr Mutizira-Nondo.
Speaking at the same occasion Manicaland Governor and Resident Minister Cde Chris Mushowe hailed the new book saying it helps Zimbabweans to understand issues better.
Cde Mushowe, who contributed a chapter in the book, said the book was launched at the right time as the nation was preparing for elections.
“The book is timely and it came just on the eve of the general election. To those who are lazy to campaign, it will do the campaigning for them,” said Cde Mushowe.
Senator Aguy Georgias, Chitungwiza Central Hospital chief executive Dr Obadiah Moyo, Registrar General Tobaiwa Mudede, Zimpapers chief executive Mr Justin Mutasa and Chief Chirawu were among the guests who attended the launch.
Dr Mutizira-Nondo, apart from political books, wrote educational books on HIV/Aids and is also a publishing consultant.
